Add Password Block Field

This field type allows users to specify a password. Passwords entered into this field are hidden. This field with actually contain two fields that must match in value to be valid. This field type is used primarily with the Authentication system.  See Form Example.

Begin on Quick Panel, select the Palette tab.

Then click on Form within the Group tabs.

Click, hold and drag Password Block Field icon on to your web page.

The Password Block Field Properties dialog box will display:

Label
Type in name of field
Note
Type in instructions for site visitors or a description of the field. This will appear as small text just below the field.
8 Character Minimum
requires passwords to contain at least 8 characters
Require lowercase
requires passwords to contain at least 1 lowercase letter
Require uppercase
requires passwords to contain at least 1 uppercase letter
Require numeric
requires passwords to contain at least 1 number
Require symbol
requires passwords to contain at least 1 symbol (such as “_”, “&”, “$”, etc.)

Complete or Cancel
  1. Select OK to save the field properties
  2. Select Cancel to abort operation.

To add more field types, just drag the appropriate Field Type onto your form. Each Field Type will be added to the bottom.  Need to move a field up or down within your form, see Move Field within Form for more information.
