- Set-up AuthorizeNet to accept payment:
- Select AuthorizeNet for payment.
- Configure AuthorizeNet Credit Card Acceptance dialog box appears with options:
- Use AuthorizeNet = check this box to use as credit card processor.(Note: AuthorizeNet account must be set-up , call Webb Lake Software to start and complete application process to accept credit cards in real-time on site.)(Note: AuthorizeNet account must be set-up by bank and credit card processor.)
- API Login ID = Log into AuthorizeNet to obtain. (Note: generate a new API Login ID at anytime, your Checkout function will not work until the new API Login ID is entered.)
- Transaction Key = Log into AuthorizeNet to obtain. (Note: generate a new Transaction Key at anytime, your Checkout function will not work until the new Transaction Key is entered.)
- Test Mode = check this box to run ‘test’ transactions prior to going live.
- Accept Visa = check box to accept Visa as payment. (Note: merchant account must be set-up by credit card processor for this card type.)
- Accept Mastercard = check box to accept Mastercard as payment. (Note: merchant account must be set-up by credit card processor for this card type.)
- Accept American Express = check box to accept American Express as payment. (Note: merchant account must be set-up by credit card processor for this card type.)
- Accept Discover = check box to accept Discover as payment. (Note: merchant account must be set-up by credit card processor for this card type.)
- Select OK
- Within the AuthorizeNet Properties dialog box, place a checkmark in ‘Test Mode’ box.
- The API Log ID and Transaction Key must be entered.
- Start running ‘Test’ transactions using a credit card. NOTE: the card will not be charged since its Test Mode.
