Creating a .CSV File

Applications within iEditWeb™ may require that all data (spreadsheets and databases utilized to populate applications) must be uploaded in .CSV (Comma Separate Value) file format.

Let's say you are using Excel Spreadsheet.   This spreadsheet can be saved as a .CSV file type. Other spreadsheet, database, and other programs have the feature to save files as another file type.  You may need to search through their 'Help' menu for answers.

When your spreadsheet/data file is open.  
  1. Select 'Save As"
  2. Dialog box will appear.  FIle Type area -- click on the 'right arrow, from drop-down, select file format .csv
  3. Select OK
