Ownership
The ownership tab of Podcast Properties describes who owns the podcast. Pay close attention to the format since the iTunes store is really fussy about this. The critical fields with regards to format have messages describing the proper format. These messages will change from red to green once the format is correct.
Note: In most cases people are identified with their email address and proper name in the format of name@domain.com (First Last). As a result, it may seem a bit strange that the owner is specified with two separate fields. This is because of the evolutionary nature of Podcasts and the extensions Apple requires to accept a Podcast into the iTunes store.
- Title - Title for your podcast. This title must be unique among all Podcasts in the iTunes store to make this podcast available in the store.
- Subtitle - Subtitle for your podcast.
- Author - The email address and proper name of the person who created the podcast. This must be in the format of name@domain.com (First Last).
- Owner -The business name or person who owns this podcast.
- Owner Email - The email address of the person or business who owns this podcast.
- Managing Editor - The editor that's responsible for the content of this podcast. This must be in the format of name@domain.com (First Last).
- Webmaster - The person responsible for the web site holding this podcast. This must be in the format of name@domain.com (First Last).
