Slide Show

Create pictures/images that zoom in and out, automatically change to the next picture/image and determine sizing. The images show movement. Place a series of pictures/images within one slideshow.

Add Slideshow Application

To start a the Slide Show Application on your web page, you will need to drag a Subscribe icon  onto your page.

To begin, on the Quick Panel, select the Palette tab.

Then click on Web Objects with the Group tabs.

Click on the Slideshow icon and drag onto your web page within your site.

Slideshow Properties (settings)
Right click on the Slideshow application.  The borders will turn red.

Drop-down menu will appear.  Select Slideshow.  Then select Properties.

Slideshow Properties dialog box will appear. 

Slide Show Dimensions
Width (pixels)
Set the width of slide show
Height (pixels)
Set the height of slide show
Slide show delay - seconds
Select how long each image will display
Controls
This will display Play, Pause, etc. buttons.   Determine the placement of those buttons.   Select appropriate placement
Transition
Select the fade transition
Zoom
Determines the speed of the zoom within the slideshow

Select OK to confirm.   Select Cancel to abort.

Add Images to Slide Show Application using Slide Manager
Right click on the Slideshow application.  The borders will turn red.

Drop-down menu will appear.  Select Slideshow.  Then select Slide Manager.

Slide Manger dialog box will appear:

Add an image -- click [IMAGE] button.  Your comptuer's file tree will open.  Locate the image file and select OK.  The image will upload.

Set the Image --   First highlight an image.   Then, click [IMAGE].  This will open a new Properities dialog box.  Repeat for each image.

 
Caption / Title
Optional item -- type in the title and caption for each image
Zoom
Optional Item --
Green Lines -- this is where the image zoom starts.  Click on the Green Zoom icon (top left).   Click on the green anchors, drag the green line around.
Red Lines -- this is where the image zoom ends. Click on the Red Zoom icon (top left).   Click on the red anchors, drag the red line around.

Click OK to accept.   Click Cancel to abort.

Remove  -- To delete an image from Slide Show, highlight the image.   Click [IMAGE] button.  Dialog box will appear to confirm.  

[IMAGE]Move Up / Move Down -- Allows you to move the placement of the image.  Highlight the image.  Click Move-up or Move Down.  Image moves one space.  Repeat as necessary. 
 
Take your time and play with this feature.  This will give your web site the WOW factor.
 

Remove Slide Show Application
Right click on the Slideshow application.  The borders will turn red.

Drop-down menu will appear.  Select Slideshow.  Then select Remove Slideshow Application.  Dialog box will appear to confirm.

Slideshow Advanced Styles
Advanced Styles is extremely powerful giving you the ability to change the appearance of the form. Change font, font size, width of field label, width of form, and much more. You may wish to reference the Advanced Styles Chapter within this Knowledge Guide.
