Custom Meta Tags

The editor and Page Properties support the meta tags most often used in a web site. Should it become neccesary to add additional meta tags, you can use the Custom Meta Tags dialog box.

  • Click on "Add" to add a new Meta Tag. See "Add Custom Meta Tag" below for more information.

  • Select a meta tag from the list and click the "Modify" button to change the value of an existing meta tag. See "Modify Custom Meta Tag" below for more information.


  • Select a meta tag from the list and click the "Delete" button to remove a meta tag. Select "Delete Custom Meta Tag" below for more information.


  • Select a meta tag from the list and Click the "Apply to All Pages" button to add this meta tag and it's value to all pages of the web site. See "Apply Meta Tag to All Pages" below for more information.

 Add Custom Meta Tag

  • Type a name for the new custom meta tag.

  • Type a value for the new custom meta tag.

  • Press OK to add the new tag to the list.

  • Press Cancel to exit the dialog box without saving

Modify Custom Meta Tag

  • Type a new value for the meta tag named in the Name field.

  • Press OK to modify the named meta tag.

  • Press Cancel to exit the dialog box without saving.

Delete Custom Meta Tag

  • Verify you want to delete the meta tag named in this box.

  • Press OK to delete the meta tag.

  • Press Cancel to exit dialog box without deleting the meta tag.

Apply Meta Tag to All Pages


  • Press OK to apply the selected Meta tag to all pages.


  • Press Cancel to exit dialog box without applying the meta tag to all pages.
