  • Select the Indexing Rules tab
  • Check Disallow search engine indexing to request that search engines don't index this page.
  • Change Frequency tells search engines how often to re-index this page. Make sure to make changes as often as you select - not changing your site as frequently as your Change Frequency says will cause your site to drop in search engine ranking!
  • Priority is a number between 0 and 1 that tells search engines how important this page is within your site. 1 is most important, 0 is least important.
  • Language tells search engines what language your site is written in.
  • Click on [IMAGE] Apply to all Pages button to copy the option on the left to all pages in your site. This change will be immediate even if you cancel out of the Page Properties dialog box.

Note: Make sure to change your page as often as your Change Frequency implies. Not doing so will cause your site to drop in rank for searches.

Note: Increasing priority of your pages does not increase your search engine ranking. Set this to represent how important that page is in relation to your other pages. I.E. Would it be better to have the search engine link to this page as opposed to one of your other pages.
