Login...
[IMAGE]
Use this to open the login dialog box
Open Site...
[IMAGE]
Use this to access the Open Site dialog box. This will allow you to open a different site for edit.
Publish
[IMAGE]
Use this to publish your website for the world to see. See chapter Preview and Publish for more information.
Quit
[IMAGE]
This button will close the editor.


Site
Page Manager...
[IMAGE]
The Page Manager can be used to manage the pages of your website.
Select Design...
[IMAGE]This will allow you to change the template and design of your website.
Authentication Manager...
[IMAGE]The Authentication Manager allows you to add or manage Password realms
Link Messages...
[IMAGE]Link Messages allow you to set a message notification when a viewer of your site clicks on an external link
Preview
[IMAGE]This will run a preview of your site, allowing you to see it and share it in your web browser without publishing to your live website.
Site Information
[IMAGE]
This will tell you information about your site including how many pages and images your site has.
Site Properties
[IMAGE]
Site Properties contains options pertaining to your whole website. This includes options for Mobile Redirect and Facebook.
Campaign Manager...
[IMAGE]
The Campaign Manager allows you to start and track a Marketing Campaign.
Statistics
[IMAGE]Statistics will open in a web browser, and allow you to view your
Validation
[IMAGE]This will run the W3C's HTML validation tool on your website. A positive result means you pass the W3C HTML standards.
Select Stylesheet...
[IMAGE]Select Stylesheet allows you to switch between a template's available stylesheets.
Edit Styles...
[IMAGE]
Edit Styles will open the User Style Manager, allowing you to manage your font styles you have set up.
Font Manager...
[IMAGE]
This allows you to add and remove fonts from other foundries (currently Google Web Fonts and Adobe Typekit).
Advanced Styles...
[IMAGE]
The Advanced Style Editor allows you to manipulate the CSS of your website. WARNING: This is ONLY for advanced users. Changes made here can affect your entire site.
Custom File Upload
[IMAGE]
This allows you to upload a file to the root directory of your site.


eMail
Insert Mail Merge Field...
[IMAGE]
Use this in a bulk email message to add information about the recipient to the message (I.E. First name, last name, company, etc).
Remove Mail Merge Field...
[IMAGE]
In order to remove a Mail Merge Field, use this.
Spam Filter Test...
[IMAGE]
Using this will run a spam filter check on your message. It will tell you how likely your message is to be delivered to an inbox or a spam box.
NOTE: The results from the test are not guaranteed, as each spam filter is different.
Send Message...
[IMAGE]
This will open up the Bulk Mailer, allowing you to send a message to one of your mailing lists.
Send Message To...
[IMAGE]
This will send a message to a particular email address. To send bul mail, use Send Mesage...
List Manager...
[IMAGE]
The List Manager allows you to view and manage your lists
Scheduler...
[IMAGE]
The Scheduler allows you to
Job Status...
[IMAGE]
Job Status tells you the progress of your bulk mail.
Hash Lookup...
[IMAGE]
This advanced feature allows you to grab information on a particular email sent.


Edit
Undo
[IMAGE]
This button will undo the last operation
Redo
[IMAGE] After using an Undo, use this button to repeat the operation.
Cut
 [IMAGE]This will remove the selected text and place it in the clipboard to be pasted.
Copy
 [IMAGE]This will copy the selected text and place it in the clipboard. The selected text remains unchanged.
Paste
 [IMAGE]This will paste a copy of whatever is currently in the clipboard where the cursor is.
Find
 [IMAGE]This will search the page for specified text
Find Next
 [IMAGE]This will find the next occurrence of what is being searched for.
Find Previous
 [IMAGE]This will find the previous occurrence of what is being searched for.
Replace
 [IMAGE]This will search the page for specified text. This can also replace specific text with other text.
Spell Check
 [IMAGE]Spell Check will search your page for any spelling errors and ask to correct them.
Header/Footer
[IMAGE] This will allow you to toggle header/footer. Checking this box will make an edit area have the same content on every page (like a footer).


Format
Bold
[IMAGE]
This will bold selected text
Italic
[IMAGE]
This will italicize selected text
Underline
[IMAGE]
This will underline selected text
Strikethrough
[IMAGE]
This will make selected text have a strike through it
Superscript
[IMAGE]
Selected text will become superscript
Subscript
[IMAGE]
Selected text will become subscript
Font Color
[IMAGE]
Opens the Color Selector. Selected text's color will change to the selected color.
Left Justify
[IMAGE]
Selected text will be aligned and justified to the left
Center Justify
[IMAGE]
Selected text will be centered
Right Justify
[IMAGE]
Selected text will be aligned and justified to the right
Justify
[IMAGE]
Selected text will be justified
Ordered List
[IMAGE]
If text is selected, it will be formatted to a numbered list. If no text is selected, a numbered list will be created.
Unordered List
[IMAGE]
If text is selected, it will be formatted to a bulleted list. If no text is selected, a bulleted list will be created.
Indent
[IMAGE]
Selected text will be indented another level
Outdent
[IMAGE]
Selected text will be outdented another level.
Remove Formatting
[IMAGE]
Removes all formatting of selected text.


Image
Insert Image
[IMAGE]
Opens up the File Browser to upload an image. Image will be placed where the cursor is.
Insert Image from Library
[IMAGE]
Opens up the Library Manager to upload an image. Image will be placed where the cursor is.
Image Properties
[IMAGE]
Opens up the Image Properties dialog for the currently selected image.
Library Manager
[IMAGE]
Opens up the Library Manager.
Global Image Properties
[IMAGE]
Allows you to modify the Slideshow time delay for when the "slideshow" property is checked on an image's Large Image.
Advanced Image Styles
[IMAGE]
Opens the Advanced Style Editor filtered with results relevant to an image's Large Image.
NOTE: This is for advanced users only.

Insert
File...
[IMAGE]
After selecting text, using this will open the file browser and allow you to upload a file. The selected text will become a link to the file.
Symbol...
[IMAGE]
Allows you to insert symbols where the cursor is currently placed
Application...
[IMAGE]
Opens the Insert Application dialog box, allowing you to insert an application where the cursor is currently placed.
Line Break...
[IMAGE]
Allows you to insert a line break at the start or end of current edit area or cell.
Horizontal Rule
[IMAGE]
Inserts a Horizontal Rule where the cursor is placed.
Insert Header Tag
[IMAGE]
Applies a header tag to the line where the cursor is placed.
External Hyperlink
[IMAGE]
Allows you to link selected text to another website.
Link to Page
[IMAGE]
Allows you to link selected text to another page.
Email Link
[IMAGE]
Applies a mail-to link to the currently selected text (when clicked on, it will open the user's default email application with an email to the address specified).
Anchor
[IMAGE]
Adds an anchor link where the cursor is currently placed. When clicking an anchor link, the page will open with the anchor at the top of the page (page will scroll down if necessary).
Break Hyperlink
[IMAGE]
Removes the link from where the cursor is currently placed.

Table
Insert Easy Table...
[IMAGE]
This will open the Easy Table Selector, and insert the selected Easy Table where the cursor is currently place.
Insert Easy Table Rows Above
[IMAGE]
This will add a row of the selected Easy Table above the row where the cursor is currently placed.
Insert Easy Table Rows Below
[IMAGE]
This will add a row of the selected Easy Table below the row where the cursor is currently placed.
Copy Easy Table Rows Above
[IMAGE]
This will place a copy of the currently selected Easy Table above where the cursor us currently placed.
Copy Easy Table Rows Below
[IMAGE]
This will place a copy of the currently selected Easy Table above where the cursor us currently placed.
Insert Table
[IMAGE]
This will insert a 1-row, 2-column table where the cursor is currently placed.
Insert Column to the Left
[IMAGE]
This will add a column to the left of the one where the cursor is currently placed.
Insert Column to the Right
[IMAGE]
This will add a column to the right of the one where the cursor is currently placed.
Insert Row Above
[IMAGE]
This will add a row above the one where the cursor is currently placed.
Insert Row Below
[IMAGE]
This will add a row below the one where the cursor is currently placed.
Split Cell
[IMAGE]
This will split the current cell into two separate cells. This may not work properly when using Easy Tables.
Merge Cells
[IMAGE]
This will merge the selected cells into one.
Delete Rows
[IMAGE]
This will remove the row where the cursor is currently placed.
Delete Columns
[IMAGE]
This will remove the column where the cursor is currently placed.
Table Properties...
[IMAGE]
This will open the table properties menu. For more information see chapter Tables.
Cell Properties...
[IMAGE]
This will open the cell properties menu. For more information, see chapter Tables.

Box
Insert Box
[IMAGE]
This will insert a floating box into the page.
Box Properties
[IMAGE]
This will open the properties on the currently selected floating box.
Delete Box
[IMAGE]
This will remove the currently selected floating box.
Bring Forward
[IMAGE]
This will increase the z-index of the box, making it appear closer to the "front" or "top" of the document. (useful if your box is hidden behind another element)
Send Backward
[IMAGE]
This will decrease the z-index of the box, making it appear toward the "back" or "bottom" of the document. (useful if you want your box to appear behind another element.)
Move to Front
[IMAGE]
This will make the box the front-most element on the page (it will appear above all other elements)
Move to Back
[IMAGE]
This will make the box the back-most element on the page (it will appear below all other elements)

Set Session Timezone
[IMAGE]
Sets the timezone for your client. Default is your computer's timezone.
Manage Autocomplete...
[IMAGE]
Allows you to manage the AutoComplete records for your account.
Register Template...
[IMAGE]
Allows you to register a template
Register Application...
[IMAGE]
Allows you to register an application
Edit HTML Source
[IMAGE]
Allows you to edit the source HTML for the current edit area.

Help
Search Knowledge Base
[IMAGE]
This will open the Knowledge Base dialog with the search bar in focus.
Knowledge Base
[IMAGE]
This will open the Knowledge Base with the Table of Contents having focus.
Video Help
[IMAGE]
This will open the Video Help dialog box, containing video tutorials for the editor.
Quick Tips
[IMAGE]
This will open the Quick Tips dialog box. This contains a multitude of little tips to help you learn more about the editor or improve your experience.
Live Help
[IMAGE]
This will open a Live Help chat with an experienced iEditWeb support technician
Email Setup Help
[IMAGE]
This will open the documentation page to help you set up your email client.
Customer Only Site...
[IMAGE]
This will open the Customer Only site to manage your account.
About
[IMAGE]
This will bring up version and legal info about iEditWeb.
